Personal Background

My interest in contemporary art led me to the National Gallery Prague, where I began my professional career working across several roles in art management. I later became assistant to Chief Curator Adam Budak, an experience that gave me the opportunity to work closely on major exhibition projects and to coordinate the Czech participation at the Venice Biennale of Architecture and the Venice Biennale of Art.

I continued my professional development through an internship at the Albertinum in Dresden and curatorial studies in Venice. These experiences broadened my understanding of exhibition-making and its connections with architecture, graphic design, institutions and the wider international art world.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with Czech and international artists including Kateřina Šedá, Stanislav Kolíbal, Jitka Hanzlová, Antony Gormley, Zhanna Kadyrova and Katharina Grosse.

I see exhibition production as a balance between practical knowledge and sensitivity to the needs of each project. It requires careful planning, clear communication and the ability to bring together different people, perspectives and ways of working. I believe the Czech art scene has a strong international potential. Through my work, I would like to contribute to its continued development and to create natural connections between local and international artistic and exhibition practices.

Good exhibition production requires more than careful planning. It requires an understanding of the artwork, the people involved, and the environment in which a project takes place.

I combine institutional experience, international practice, and a personal approach to guide projects from the first stages of planning through production and installation. I value clear communication, thoughtful preparation, and finding practical solutions without losing sight of the artistic intention.

My aim is to help projects from the Czech Republic connect naturally with the international exhibition landscape — with a high standard of production and a strong respect for the character of each project.

For me, good production is about more than getting things done. It is about creating the conditions for an artwork and a project to be realised in the best possible way.

I value precision, clear communication, trust, and personal responsibility. I stay closely involved throughout the process, from early planning and coordination to production and final installation.

Working with artists, curators, institutions, and specialists, I try to build relationships based on openness, respect, and reliability. My aim is to bring international experience and professional standards into each project while remaining attentive to its individual character and context.

Experience

My experience is built on long-term work with Czech and international cultural institutions, including the National Gallery Prague and Galerie Rudolfinum, as well as projects connected to the Venice Biennale.

Over the years, I have worked on exhibitions of different scales and levels of complexity, developing a practical understanding of production, project management and coordination.

Close collaboration with artists, curators, institutions and technical teams has taught me to approach each project with care, flexibility and attention to detail. I combine institutional experience with an independent and hands-on approach to production, adapting the way I work to the needs of each project.
